Vignette 2: 10 sentences

I still couldn't believe I was actually going through with this. It was exciting and terrifying and new, and I absolutely loved every moment of it. Looking through the plane window as it soared high over the Canadian border was the best. It was like leaving behind everything I once knew in favor of a scary new fantasy-land, filled with new dreams and new hopes. The best though, I think, was the airport. Stepping off that plane, getting my luggage, and finally seeing for the first time my friend. He was statuesque, everything I could have ever hoped for. It was as if I had stepped into Narnia, and he was Mr.Tumnus. No, he was much too beautiful for that. He was like the white witch; cold and beautiful.
